Chelsea Gaberdiel is Associate General Counsel within the employment practice group. She works on student and staff conduct, employment, non-discrimination, and compliance matters. Prior to joining OGC, Chelsea served as Deputy General Counsel for a national network of charter schools, and was a partner with a Phoenix law firm where her primary areas of practice included education law, commercial litigation, and attorney professional responsibility. Chelsea received her B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Arizona and her J.D. summa cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. Chelsea is admitted to practice law in Arizona; Texas (inactive); Massachusetts (inactive); the U.S. District Courts for the State of Arizona, State of Colorado, and the Southern District of Texas; and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.

 Chelsea has served as Adjunct Faculty at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU, where she co-developed and taught a course on mindfulness and the law.
