Nicole is an Associate General Counsel within the transactional practice group, focusing on real estate matters. Previously, Nicole served as the Deputy General Counsel to Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. Prior to that, she was the General Counsel of the Arizona Department of Administration and chaired the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council.

Before joining the public sector, Nicole was a transactional attorney at DLA Piper, where she handled real estate transactions across the country. Before that, she was an attorney at Snell & Wilmer. While her practice at Snell & Wilmer was concentrated in transactional work, she also practiced in a variety of commercial litigation matters. Before practicing at these firms, Nicole clerked for federal Judge Stephen McNamee in Phoenix.

In 2017, Nicole was selected as one of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s Best Lawyers Under 40. She was recognized as one of the Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Stars (Real Estate) in 2014 and 2015.

Nicole currently serves on the board of the Arizona Asian American Bar Association and served as its president from 2015-2016.

Nicole received her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in finance from the University of San Francisco and her law degree cum laude from the University of Arizona.
